Your Home Away from Home

On the main floor, the kitchen features espresso cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and bright windows overlooking the harbour and backyard. The great room features a natural gas fireplace which creates the perfect atmosphere for romance and relaxation on cooler nights.  Custom built-in cabinetry flanks the back wall and is where you’ll find family games and a vast book collection as well as a desk for the travelling professional.  The great room also includes a dining area with seats for eight. The family room is a large, sun-soaked space with vaulted ceilings and a skylight which offers a flat screen TV-viewing area and comfortable seating overlooking the landscaped yard, and entrances to both the side porch and BBQ/stone patio/hot tub areas. An updated 2-piece bathroom is also located on the main floor.

Upstairs features three well-appointed bedrooms (1 King, 1 Queen and 1 Full & 1 Twin) and a comfortable sitting room for reading, relaxing or movie-watching on the Queen sofa bed.  The newly completed spa bathroom features heated floors, double vanity, sunken soaker tub and a 6-foot rainfall glass shower. The bathroom connects to a walk-in custom laundry area featuring a Whirlpool Washer/Dryer, ironing board and clothes racks.

This vacation rental home is set on a beautifully landscaped 1/2-acre lot with lush gardens, interlocking stone patio, patio furniture, BBQ, 5 pp hot tub, chiminea fire pit, paved circular driveway and large garage/workshop which sits at the back of the lot. The front walkway leads to the street where you can cross to Picton Harbour (200 meters away) and can enjoy a stroll on the boardwalk, have a bite to eat, fish, dock your boat or charter one. We provide use of a tandem kayak / stand-up paddleboard as well as a canoe and pedal boat so you can get out on the water and enjoy Picton Bay!

This heritage house is centrally located in The County, meaning boundless access to entertainment and amenities by foot, bike or a scenic drive.  The Crystal palace and Macaulay Mountain are about 1km away, with the latter boasting 20km of hiking trails and the famed Birdhouse City. It is a short drive to Sandbanks Provincial Parks (20 min) and Lake on the Mountain (8 min).  Explore our vibrant community and its abundance of wineries, cideries, breweries, artist studios, farmer's markets, cheese factories, festivals and scenic farm and water views.  Enjoy warm summer days and nights lounging under the trees on the patio or sitting by the campfire.
